It’s officially a really wild summer, and we want all of Kent to get outdoors, soak up some sun and enjoy some of Kent’s incredible wildlife and wild places at our amazing summer events. Wilder Holiday Club
Tyland Barn nature reserve

There are still four days left of our Wilder Holiday Club this summer, and we want to see you there! Our holiday clubs are the perfect place to drop off your kiddies for a day, with all the fun and games of a holiday club with a wild twist. Children from ages 5-11 can enjoy a host of nature-focused activities from mini-beast identification to pond dipping. We also incorporate our Forest School ethos into Holiday Club and allow plenty of time to simply explore nature, learn about local wildlife, make new friends and let imaginations run wild.

We are running holiday clubs on Thursday 11th, Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th, and Thursday 18th August from 9:30am – 3:30pm. And for the last clubs of the summer, we are running a special discount! Enjoy 10% off any holiday club session by using the code ‘vole’ at checkout.

Wilder Kent Safaris
Multiple Kent Wildlife Trust nature reserves

We are running wild safaris at one of our nature reserves almost every day this summer! From looking for signs of beaver activity at Ham Fen near Sandwich to exploring the secrets of West Blean and Thornden Woods near Canterbury, there’s something for everyone across Kent.

Taking part in a Kent Wildlife Trust safari is a great way to truly experience some of the amazing wildlife we’re lucky enough to play host to here in Kent. Our experts conservationists are the best guides to take you round these beautiful havens, pointing out secret signs of wildlife, amazing, rare plants and the vital conservation work being carried out to protect nature. We’re lucky enough to have lots of new wild residents in Kent this year -  from Ham Fen’s amazing water buffalo to the most famous wild residents in the UK: our Blean bison! – and joining one of our wild safaris is the best chance you’ll get of spotting one this summer.
