Can you spare time to support our IT team?
Why do we need you?
Our team is seeking volunteers to help us with the day to day running of our IT department and would be delighted to meet with you to discuss how you could help.
What will you be doing?
You would be based at our headquarters in Tyland Barn, Maidstone.
Some examples of the tasks you may be doing are:
- Equipment logging via our asset management app
- Cataloguing the contents of storage drives used across the Trust's work
- Helping with stock room organisation
- Helping identify anything that can be sold (old printers and ink, old devices we can no longer use) and assisting in getting them ready for sending off
- Backing up old project data for storage - Azure backups
- Creating how to guides for Apps to help staff and other volunteers (Outlook, Word etc.)
Experience and skills needed for this role
- Flexible
- Enthusiastic
- No previous experience required, though some basic IT skills would be great
- Willing to work as part of a team
- A passion for nature and wildlife

Considerations
- The volunteer role is open to applicants over the age of 18
- Reasonable expenses can be paid
- Full training is given and you'll only be asked to do work you are comfortable with
- We are looking for someone who can commit at least one day a week
