Kent Wildlife Trust has upgraded their Romney Marsh Visitor Centre for all to enjoy and learn more about wildlife, thanks to funding from European Agricultural Funding for Rural Development and Little Cheyney Wind Farm.
Kent Wildlife Trust’s Down to Earth project in Romney Marsh has been given £140,065 of National Lottery funding from Sport England to help local volunteers make a positive contribution to their community using sport and activity.
The county’s leading conservation charity, Kent Wildlife Trust, based at Tyland Barn, Maidstone, has received an earmarked grant of £1,996,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) through its Landscape Partnership (LP) programme for the Romney Marsh ‘Fifth Continent’ Landscape Partnership Scheme, it was announced today.
