Enjoy the sights and sounds of summer at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve on a guided walk with the Reserve Warden.
During the summer a wonderful variety of plants, including several orchid species, can be seen growing at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve.
On this guided walk from the Reserve Warden we'll see a range of orchid species as well as a host of other flowers of this stunning site. You'll learn about their reproduction, life cycle and the vital role which conservation management plays in maintaining areas for these rare and beautiful plants and the insects which pollinate them.
The walk will be mostly flat and on footpaths, but due to the natural environment these may still be muddy and uneven in places.
Please ensure you are dressed for the weather and wearing comfortable footwear for walking. A bottle of water is recommended.
Our reserves team are used to working outdoors in all weathers, so we aim to go ahead with these experiences wherever possible. On occasion the warden may decide conditions are extreme enough to cancel the planned date, either because they'll be unable to deliver the event to a high enough quality or because it is unsafe to go ahead. If this is the case you will be offered an alternative date or refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund tickets if the event takes place but you choose not to attend.
