Join a guided Walk with a Warden at Marden Meadows as the orchids begin to flower.

Marden Meadows is one of the best remaining examples of unimproved hay meadow in Kent, and in the late spring and early summer the neutral grassland is home to thousands of orchids. Join this guided walk to see the orchid display and find out why they thrive here.

 

This walk will cover a short, circular route on even paths. Please ensure you wear comfortable, sturdy footwear and dress suitably for the weather conditions.

Please note there are no toilet facilities at the reserve, and no refreshments are available to purchase on site. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks, a bottle of water is recommended.

 

On occasion the weather, or other unexpected circumstances, may make it neccessary to cancel or postpone an event. If this is the case you will be offered an alternative date or refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund tickets if the event takes place but you choose not to attend.
