The Nextdoor Nature project is based in Dover, and aims to empower community members to take action for nature where they live and work. We hope this project will create a ripple effect in people taking action for nature, but we need your help reaching the community at events. Together, we will spread the word about the exciting red-billed chough reintroduction happening this summer in Dover, as well as help people to discover what they can do to take action for nature in their area.
 

Why do we need you?

We need your help with crafts and information sharing at events about the red-billed chough re-introduction and actions people can take for nature. We need your help to spread the word about the red-billed chough re-introduction in Dover and actions people can take for nature in Dover.

You will be getting involved with and learning more about existing gardening and nature-based projects in Dover.

What will you be doing?

• Helping with crafts and information sharing at events about the red-billed chough re-introduction and actions people can take for nature.
• Getting involved with existing gardening and nature-based projects in Dover.

Does the volunteer need…?

A drivers license - Optionally, but needs to be able to get to Dover / Own vehicle – Optionally, but needs to be able to get to Dover.

• Full training is given and you’ll only be asked to do work you are comfortable with.
