Join Hothfield's warden for an evening exploration of this special reserve, searching for bats and amphibians.
Our Wilder Holiday Club offers days crammed full of activities designed to inspire and develop your child’s love of nature: from pond dipping to mini-beast hunts, from nature inspired crafts to campfires and den building. There will be more than enough to keep your children busy for the day and no two sessions are ever the same!
You can leave your children with us, in the knowledge that they will be in a safe, secure and stimulating environment where they can explore the nature reserve, learn new skills, make new friends and create memories that last a lifetime! With dates available at both our Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and or Tyland Barn Nature Park, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Come and explore Tyland Barn's nature park and gardens as spring arrives. Discover the fascinating creatures that live beneath the water’s surface with our hands-on pond dipping activity before taking part in Easter inspired craft activities in our barn. You can also explore the grounds at Tyland Barn as you help the Easter bunny collect their carrots around the gardens.

Keep your eyes peeled for minibeasts, butterflies and the many plants and birds that take refuge in this wildlife haven.

Join us and discover the benefits of yoga and mindfulness as we combine storytelling and movement in this fun session suitable for all the family. You will leave feeling both calm and energised and ready to explore this stunning nature reserve on a spring themed nature trail, where we will use all our senses to make beautiful natural art and take it home as a souvenir of the day.
Did you know there are 25 different species of bumblebee found in Britain? Join our Family Workshop - Busy Bumblebees - and learn how to identify local bumblebees while exploring our Sevenoaks or Romney Marsh Visitor Centre’s nature trails. The trail will be followed with painting your own flowerpot and sowing pollinator friendly seeds in it, as well as making wildflower seed bombs. Everything you create, you take home!
There are around 250 species of solitary bee. Find out how to identify them and where to find them, and learn about their ecology.
This Easter holiday, why not enjoy the wonders of spring on a relaxed wildlife focussed guided walk. Pegwell Bay National Nature Reserve remains a beautifully wild part of the Kent coastline and is protected because of its huge variety of habitats and vulnerable wildlife. The migrating coastal birds will soon leave for their northern breeding grounds, making this the perfect opportunity to see them before they go. There will be plenty of other wildlife to see, as we’ll head to our seal viewing spot and even introduce you to our lovely highland cows. This is a great opportunity to find out more about how you and your family can enjoy the coastline this spring while also looking out for local wildlife.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an action-packed day out, Kent Wildlife Trust has something for everyone. Why not take advantage of this opportunity to connect with nature and create some lasting memories with your family? View our Easter events below and book your activities today to make this a holiday to remember!
