Open Gardens

Our series of Open Gardens gives you the opportunity to walk around stunning gardens across Kent that have been planted and maintained to encourage and benefit wildlife but also to provide a colourful, welcoming haven in which to relax and socialise.

Chat with the garden owner and experienced Kent Wildlife Trust Volunteers about how this has been achieved  and get tips and advice for developing your own garden.

Light refreshments may be available and there may be an opportunity to purchase plants donated by our volunteers. Please check details for each individual event.

Our Open Gardens are all different, meaning that you'll get to experience a range of techniques used to create nature-friendly gardens. Get some inspiration to start your own wildlife pond, create a wildflower section, plant fruit and vegetable beds, and lots more!
