Open gardens

Our unique open gardens give you the opportunity to visit gardens that are beautiful, inspiring and wildlife-friendly, while also having the chance to talk to experts about wildlife gardening.

See latest events

Chat with the garden owner and experienced Kent Wildlife Trust volunteers about how the garden has been achieved, and get tips and advice for developing your own garden or green space.

Tea, coffee and cake may be available and there may be an opportunity to purchase plants donated by our volunteers. We also run gardens tours, walks and workshops during the events.

Our open gardens are all different, meaning that you'll get to experience a range of techniques used to create nature-friendly gardens. Get some inspiration to start your own wildlife pond, create a wildflower section, plant fruit and vegetable beds, and lots more!
