Last month the regular volunteer teams at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and Magpie Bottom received a boost from a number of corporate volunteer groups. Teams from AXA, Savills and Gas Safe Register helped clear willow, alder and invasive budjelia scrub to improve a range of habitats on the nature reserves.
Amy from Savills said: "It was fantastic to get out in the countryside to volunteer with Paul and his team at Kent Wildlife Trust. Not only did we all learn a lot about the importance of maintaining the grassland areas for local wildlife, but it was a great opportunity for some rewarding team bonding in such peaceful surroundings."
