The Wilder Blean Community Advisory Group is a space for anyone from the local community to come and share their opinions and ideas for the future of the Blean landscape. This is the 4th meeting of the Wilder Blean Community Advisory Group.
Come and meet us face to face to continue the work we started in September. We will share the common themes that emerged from September's vision workshop and discuss what you'd like the Community Advisory Group to achieve going forward.
Do you care about nature, your local area, planned housing developments, future plans for the Blean? Then come and tell us!
Whether you've joined a session before, or if this would be your first session you're very welcome to attend!
To create a landscape-scale wilding project, KWT, RSPB and Woodland Trust, launched the Wilder Blean Initiative in 2022. By working with the community, landholders and stakeholders the partnership brought together knowledge, expertise and ideas to build the vision of a restored landscape driven by natural processes with missing species returned, that is reconnected and wilded in one of the most land-scarce corners of England.
We will have a first look at the Wilder Blean Initiative Strategy that is currently being developed so you can share your thoughts and feedback.
We will also decide on a date for Community Organising Training for those that are interested.
