Join Alice Hemming and Nancy Leschnikoff at West Blean & Thornden Woods for a morning of activities inspired by The Bison and the Butterfly!
We're very excited that Alice Hemming and Nancy Leschnikoff are returning to West Blean & Thornden Woods, home to the UK's first semi-wild bison herd, for a morning of fun activities as part of the Wilder Blean Festival and Canterbury Children's Literature Festival.
We'll start with a story telling session as Alice reads 'the Bison and the Butterfly', before games and crafts with Alice and the book's illustrator, Nancy.

Tickets are free but limited due to the space available at the Heather Corrie Ranger Station. All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout. Additional adults are welcome but please be considerate with the number of adult tickets booked to allow as many children as possible to attend the event. Books and cuddly bison will be available to purchase on the day.

This event will take place in the garden of the Heather Corrie Ranger Station, the garden is accessible. The route from the car park to the garden is flat but can be muddy.
