The Beaney has an accessible entrance at Best Lane, with step free access into the building, a platform lift and a flight of ‘easy going’ steps, which are comfortable for the ambulant disabled and allow for pushchairs and other mobility equipment.

Accessible visitor toilet facilities and full lift access are available.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome at The Beaney.

A 12 space disabled car park is available at the rear of the building.

There is a  Changing Places Facility at The Beaney, which is equipped with a full room coverage hoist system, height adjustable changing bench, height adjustable wash basin, a peninsula toilet with hand rails and a wall-mounted folding privacy screen.

The facility is located next to the Visitor Information Centre desk on the ground floor at The Beaney, close to the accessible entrance on Best Lane.

Canterbury West train station is about a 0.4 miles, 10 minute walk.

Canterbury East train station is about a 0.5 miles, 12 minute walk.
