About the event
Join us for a guided walk to explore the important natural history and wildlife of this beautiful coastal wetland reserve. This is a great opportunity to spot sea birds, learn to recognise wetland bird calls and learn more about the local seals enjoying the peaceful banks of the River Stour. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions about Kent’s biggest coastal reserve and how we manage its’ many habitats. These engaging walks will leave you feeling inspired to do more to help protect our coastal and marine wildlife.
Booking is essential.
Tours will last approximately 2 hours.
Families are welcome but children must be supervised. There will be activities provided for children during the walk.
Some paths are narrow with rough terrain and will require use of stairs and kissing gate not suitable for wheelchair users. Please ensure you wear sturdy footwear (during periods of wet weather waterproof footwear is advisable) and wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
There are toilets at the main entrance to Pegwell Bay Country Park.
