Sevenoaks Garden Volunteers Update

Last month the regular volunteer teams at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and Magpie Bottom received a boost from a number of corporate volunteer groups. Teams from AXA, Savills and Gas Safe Register helped clear willow, alder and invasive budjelia scrub to improve a range of habitats on the nature reserves. Amy from Savills said ‘It was fantastic to get out in the countryside to volunteer with Paul and his team at Kent Wildlife Trust. Not only did we all learn a lot about the importance of maintaining the grassland areas for local wildlife, but it was a great opportunity for some rewarding team bonding in such peaceful surroundings.’
