Entry is free with four categories: Flora; Fauna; Landscape, Coastline & People; and Junior (17 and under).
Competition organiser, Ray Lewis, said: “With the summer holidays almost upon us and everything now looking ‘rosy’ in the Garden of England, there’s never been a better time to photograph the splendid wildlife and scenery of Kent – and you don’t need sophisticated cameras to achieve that; just an eye for the opportunity!”
Trophies are awarded for first, second and third places in each category. Winning images are featured in the Trust’s magazine, Wild Kent, on its website and at its visitor centres. A special awards presentation evening will be held in Maidstone in November.
For details and an entry form go to www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk, email [email protected] or call 01622 662012 (Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm).
Closing date is 5th September 2016.
