Halloween Family Fun at West Blean and Thornden Woods
West Blean and Thornden Woods,
Thornden Wood Road. To access the Wilder Blean project, use West Blean and Thornden Woods car park. , Canterbury, Kent, CT6 7NZAbout the event
Join Kent Wildlife Trust's Education Team this half-term for some autumnal wildlife craft activities, a spooky game, and some warming hot chocolate while you listen to a seasonal story. You'll learn all about bats, spiders and owls and can also explore the wonderful woodland during your visit by following the Wildart Trail. Don't miss the chance to look out for our family of bison while you experience the trees changing colour and crunch through all their fallen leaves!
We'll provide all the materials needed for the activities, and you'll take home the crafts you make. Please be aware that the crafts may be messy so you might like to bring an apron to protect clothing or wear something easy to clean.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, £10 tickets give admission for one child and one adult. These events are popular with accompanying adults too! To help with capacity, any additional adults attending will require their own ticket. Free spaces are available for babies and toddlers who are too young to take part in the activities (recommended for over 3 years, but this is at your discretion). Please make sure you book a ticket for everyone attending in your group.
Tickets detail the time you will be taking part in the craft activities and story, but you are welcome to be onsite any time for exploring or picnicking.
Please note, New Road is not accessible by car from Canterbury Road, therefore to reach the car park please access from Thornden Wood Road.
